About Us

The Cottage OSHC is an approved Out of School Hours Care Service offering quality care for Glenmore Road Public School children at affordable prices.  Children from other schools are welcome to participate in our school holiday programs.

The Cottage is a not-for-profit, Incorporated Association managed by a team of dedicated parents/carers who comprise the Cottage OSHC Management Committee. Membership is open to all families enrolled at The Cottage and participation is a great way to get involved and make new friends.

The Cottage is currently managed by Director, Rheanne Jakelski and a team of dedicated and experienced Educators.

As an approved ‘OSHC’ service, The Cottage is required to comply with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.  Further information about the National Law and Regulations, National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards can be found at www.acecqa.gov.au.

The Cottage OSHC programs reflect a nationally approved framework called ‘My Time Our Place’ (found online at My Time Our Place PDF) which prescribes an integrated and collaborative approach to programming between educators, families and their children. This approach provides the children with choice and control during customized and dynamic sessions of meaningful play and leisure opportunities which support their well-being, active citizenship and learning.
